1994年华西医科大学临床医学专业毕业。此后就读于澳门尼威斯人网站8311药理系及生物医学工程学专业，获医学硕士学位及博士学位。2008-2018年期间于美国俄亥俄州立大学医学院及在美国加州大学洛杉矶分校多次访学交流，现于药理教研室从事教学、科研工作，任药理教研室教授。

作为主研参加国家自然科学基金4项，承担省部级项目2项，负责完成一项教育部人才培养子项目，校青年基金课题1项及10余项相关横向课题的研究，目前主要研究方向为心脑血管、神经炎证药理学。申请人近年来发表论文30余篇，其中第一作者/通讯作者统计源核心期刊收录11篇，SCI收录 5篇, EI收录1篇，其中一篇与美国俄亥俄州立大学医学中心研究科学家合作研究的科研成果发表在 PNAS上。

在教学方面，长期从事本科生和研究生教学工作，获教改项目和教学成果奖多项。兼任《四川生理科学杂志》编辑，编辑部主任，四川生理科学会秘书、理事，任中国来华留学生教学专业委员会常务委员、四川药学会理事等。
